Bo\u0161njak Beer & Gin<\/strong> is a family-run agricultural estate (OPG) from Si\u010dice, near Nova Gradi\u0161ka, founded by Mario and Marijana Bo\u0161njak. Starting from humble beginnings in 2000, when they brewed beer in their home kitchen, they have evolved into pioneers of the Croatian craft beer scene.

– This reduces waste, expands the product range, and maximizes resource utilization. It\u2019s a concrete example of \u201cupcycling\u201d\u2014transforming a product into something more valuable.<\/p>\n\n

3. Using production residues as animal feed or fertilizer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Although not detailed in public sources, most small craft breweries (and possibly Bo\u0161njak as well) use brewing residues (known as “spent grain”) as livestock feed or compost. If they do, it represents another example of closing the loop within their own agricultural estate.
